MALALA Returns

Well you may or may not agree with me. I have tried to compare two thoughts in this piece. Hope you like it.

Ok so here it is, I listened to Malala's Speech on YouTube, and i was thinking this girl is so lucky to be able to speak at such a platform. This is indeed a moment of pride, how happy her parents would be, as she has brought so much fame that UN has announced MALALA DAY on her 16th birthday. What a lucky teenager.

Ok wait let me put it like this, She was an ordinary girl, started writing diary in BBC. Then went to meet US officials and all where an ordinary girl cant specially a muslin and top of it Pakistani. Well lets put this behind us and move on, she got so much attention and world wide recognition after she got shot by Taliban. Wait then there were two more girls victim of same attack, both students. They didn't got this much attention or recognition. Ok lets put it all behind and move further, She got treated and didn't returned to Pakistan, she kept moving around the world with family, which cost fortune. Ok funds are there to help such victims and rays of hope.

Now her name and fame was fading away, suddenly on her 16th birthday she returns with a bang. UN announces MALALA DAY on her 16th birthday. Now is this a coincidence or a conspiracy, well for a moment think that its a coincident and move on.

She starts her speech and thanking GOD(Why she didn't used ALLAH) All who supported her during her difficult times, her doctors and nurses. Governments of Pakistan, UK and UAE for taking care of her. Now here is when she blasts off and wins the heart of everyone, She says "MALALA Day is not my day it is the day for every one who raised voice for their rights ...."

Then she tells she has not changed, what she lost was Weakness, Fear, Hopelessness and gained Power, Strength, Courage. Terrorist thought they could silence her and her ambition but they failed.

Wait did Taliban thought of this or this is self proclaimed statements, are Taliban so touchy about Malala's work. Which i clearly saw no where huh!, what have she done practically other than interviews. Media fame that is it. There are so many unsung heroes like Mr. Edhi, why we don't celebrate Edhi Day?

Now she puts herself in a position where the Talib who shot him was in-front of him and she had a gun, yet she will not shoot him. This is the compassion she learned from Muhammad(P.B.U.H) Prophet of mercy, Jesus Christ and Lord Buddha. Legacy of change from Martin Luther King,Nelson Mandela and Muhammad Ali Jinnah (Whe she named Muhammad Ali Jinnah at the end?). Philosophy of non violence she learned from Ghandhi Jee, Bacha Khan and Mother Teresa (Is there any similarity in between these three, seriously speaking all had different objectives and all were not Non-Violent). And Forgiveness she learned from her Father and Mother.

Pakistan is a Peace Loving Democratic country, Pashtoons wants education for their children. Islam is a religion of Peace Humanity and Brotherhood. Islam empowers education for every one. Then she supports and encourages all Governments to put education and Women, Children rights on top most priority, she also talks about the power of women, she encourages women activists and NGO's to stand for their own rights instead of asking men to stand for them.

Pure Gender biased speech, Talibans are afraid of girls going to school. Girls don't need men to stand for them, they will do it by themselves. Peace deals should include safety of women and children, like men are not humans.

All said, She is a ray of Hope for the Education and empowerment of Girls in Pakistan and all over the world, She brought pride to Pakistan and her parents by delivering such an inspirational speech. Happy Birthday to MALALA may she continue to inspire us.

Her Complete Speech.
