P-N-S Mehran ??

After Abottabad Second major event in the field of Terrorism in Pakistan, PNS Mehran base attack. It was established in 1970's and is the oldest base to my knowledge.

Well oldest and unsecured Base to be precise, today we are celebrating the victory of Pak Navay Jawans and the paying great respect to the Martyrs. But we are not getting the right answers to the same old Questions so much confusion why our Politicians and agencies get so much dependent and confused when it comes to the facts of the whole story. As Rehman Malik told press that there were 6 people involved in the attack then why the hell there are 12 men in FIR??

Ok SRM is the big gun so we believe him there were only 6 men. Now what happened is, these 6 men entered  the Base from Check Post # 6 they cut the wire installed on wall and jumped in, where they were the heroes of Punjabi Movie. The wires of the CCTV camera cut, fired Rocket Launchers, moved around the Base freely  and held back the whole Army of a nation for 14-16 Hours BRAVO! And two of them managed to escape.

What a common man thinks of the situation:
Our Radars Faulty, Other Nation Come and do what ever they want and get immunity, Our army not capable of handling 6 men BLAH! BLAH!

Why our army getting 70% of the budget and yet Failing in holding back Militant activities, when ever something happens we think for its solution why are we so Reactive instead of Proactive.

PM Pakistam "we are in defining phase, we have to yet define terrorism"

Current Affairs.

Current Affairs, well what’s current is it the thing that gives you jolts or is it the thing that gives you awareness . These days in Pakistan we have it both ways. Knowledge that gives you jolts of 1000KV.

There are so many good and bad things happening simultaneously but why the fuck we always highlight the bad things around us, ok one view is that we learn from past so its compulsory to highlight a bad news so concern authorities are well aware of its consequences, but  as we don’t learn from the bad things but we divide as a nation by having different views like some supporting and some opposing, our leader fight ON AIR to prove how illiterate they are.

Our Media is Fucking crazy about getting the gossip going, they are playing a role of “Chalako Massi”, start a fight and let the “Jahil” fight for the cause they don’t even support or they don’t know what they are fighting for. “Dharna ” and “Violence” is the only solution that’s left in our country. We are fighting someone’s else’s war, but media has made it our war now we have to kill our own people. It’s the perfect example of what Hazrat Muhammad P.B.U.H said “The murderer won’t know why he killed, Victim will never know why he was killed”.
Why the fuck to discuss something that you don’t thing is imposable on you or you can’t do it the way you tell everyone else to do. We have hundreds of Journalists, Columnists, Analysts and our Leaders. Who will come up with a beautiful story of how to do things the right way, if you ever find them in the same situation you will find them doing exactly the opposite of what they told you to do.

Why this double standard ?? Why can’t we just think for our Country as a Nation?? Where is the Nation for which Quaid-e-Azam and our ancestors fought for?? Where are the leaders of Muslim world?? Why are we dependent yet being independent?? Why are we like this?? Why so much Negativity??

One answer to all these questions is that we lack:
  1. Love for Humanity.
  2. Tolerance .
  3. Care for others.
  4. Proper Education .

I don’t know when we are going to understand this, we are falling apart due to these fucking issues we should stand up as a Nation to support what’s rite and condemn that’s wrong. I leave you with a phrase, we should seriously think about it and should be ashamed of our image, so work hard to improve our image as a nation.

“Pakistan is a Nation that can sell their Mothers for Money”.

LUMS Annual Play "The Mouse Trap"

Welcome to Monkswell Manor.
The Guest House, Owned by the newly married couple, Mr. & Mrs.Ralston, provides shelter from the heavy snow to four expected guests:

The colorful Mr. Wren.
The increddible Mrs. Boyel.
The retired Major Metcalf.
The sarcastic Miss Casewell.
The unexpected shaddy visitor Mr. Paravicini.

The radio, only source of the news of the outside world, provides constant reminder of a crime that took place at twenty-four Culver street, Paddington. The murder of Mrs. Maureen Lyon.

The arrivaal of the intriguing Sergent Trotter unveils the risk of greater danger to the lives of two of the seven people residing at Monkswell Manor. Why? Because there were Three Blind Mice.

With the weather making it impossible for the murderer to reach Monkswell Manor, the guesthouse seems to be a safe heaven. But is it ? Or is the killer one of them ? All the peculiar character, it seems, have a secret, and one of them, has a secret wepon.

Anum Kamran plays Mollie Ralston, the perfect hostess, who is sure of her household. But, like every other character in the play, there is just something a bit off about her.

Asser Malik is Paravicini, The perfect Stranger. He has travelled all the way from Italy and is the uninvited, unwelcome guest. His aloofness adds to his mysterious aura and his character, in turn, definitely adds to the mystique of the play.

Yasin Asad plays Sergeant trotter, a detective by profession. The Sergeant is cheerful and loud and is present at the guest house for very good reason. Head strong and vigilant.

Saad Akbar is the guest with  English accent. He plays Major Metcalf, a retired English military man in his mid fifties. The Major seems organised and disciplined, a mark left behind by his military past.

Zain Saeed's role is that of Christopher Wern, Your typical pseudo-intellect. His hyperactive and flamboyant persona sets him apart from the rest.

Sana Warraich plays Mrs. Boyle. Always in a temper, she remains unappeased with everything her hosts do. Also, it does not take long to realize that Mrs. Boyle does not get along very well with other guests.

Ayesha Mysorewala is seen in the rather aggressive and masculine role of Miss Casewell. A bitter woman, with violent tendencies, she mocks at all the other characters.

Daniyal Ahmed plays the part of Mr. Giles Raltson, co-host and husband of Mollie Ralston. The actor describes himself as a typical sycophantic husband.

May Day just another Holiday.

May-Day Salute to Laborers all around the world.

"Hum mehnat kash jag waalon se jab apna hissa maangein ge
ik khet nahin ik dais nahin hum saari duniya maangein ge!"

History:
The earliest May Day celebrations appeared in pre-Christian times, with the festival of Flora, the Roman Goddess of flowers, and the Walpurgis Night celebrations of the Germanic countries. It is also associated with the Gaelic Beltane. Many pagan celebrations were abandoned or Christianized during the process of conversion in Europe. A more secular version of May Day continues to be observed in Europe and America. In this form, May Day may be best known for its tradition of dancing the Maypole and crowning of the Queen of May. Various Neopagan groups celebrate reconstructed (to varying degrees) versions of these customs on May the 1st. The day was a traditional summer holiday in many pre-Christian European pagan cultures. While February 1 was the first day of Spring, May 1 was the first day of summer; hence, the summer solstice on June 25 (now June 21) was Midsummer. In the Roman Catholic tradition, May is observed as Mary's month, and in these circles May Day is usually a celebration of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In this connection, in works of art, school skits, and so forth, Mary's head will often be adorned with flowers in a May crowning. Fading in popularity since the late 20th century is the giving of "May baskets," small baskets of sweets and/or flowers, usually left anonymously on neighbours' doorsteps.

May Day Pakistan:
1st May is observed as Labour day all around the world. But sadly in Pakistan its just another holiday observed by rich and middle-class, without searching the solution for the betterment of the labourers. As labour in Pakistan is living in poverty and are sometimes forced to do inhumane things such as selling their daughters and body organs. People should try to emphasis on the conditions and sufferings of the poor and labour. They should be given some sort of incentive and free education for their childeren. Some rallies were held in Lahore and concerts were organized, did it helped the poor labourers to fill their bellies certainly NOT.

Labour day n Allam Iqbal:::
"Tu Qadir-o-Adil hai magar Tairay Jahan mae,
hein taalkh bohat banda-e-mazdoor kay auqat."

OBL's Killed in Abbotabad

Oh! dear at last a quest that took over $1 Trillion comes to an end, is it really the end or a beginning to another era. We will have to wait and see in the next few weeks. Now there are many questions popping in every bodies minds:

Q: Is he really dead?
A: well USA admits that he was living in the same compound for last 2 Years or so, they have confirmed the death of OBL and have got the body in their custody. But still some believe its not his photo being shown on News Channels.

(This picture is not yet confirmed by the any authentic source)

Q: Why Pakistan Intel was not informed?
A: well to me they didn't want info to be leaked by any sources or means so they kept it a top secret but eventually it paid off.

Q: Why Pakistan didn't Break the news at first place??
A: Pakistan is afraid of the retaliation, and the response of the hardcore Mullah's. So the compound was burnt and bulldozed (Source- person living there)

As mentioned by Nusrat Javed in his Tweet:
"The whole compound has been bulldozed says a person living in the area."

Q:Will Drones stop now?
A: Drones were not for hunting OBL but all the terrorist in the country, so i don't think they will stop. we will have to wait and see.

Q: What Taliban's will do now?
A: First of all i think there will be less number of terrorists in the region after this development, but on the other hand they can still prove there point and hit back harder then we are thinking. As securities at USA Consulates have been increased.

As mentioned by Shaheryar Mirza in His Tweets:
"Heavy Checking and police patrolling outside US consulate #Karachi"

"Outside US consulate in #Karachi ......police and rangers arriving by the dozen. #Pakistan #oblisdead"

Q: Is Pakistan in more danger then before?
A: I hope not, but according to the current situation it might be. we have to be calm and be aware of the surroundings and should report any disturbance or suspicious activity. We should be prepared for the worse and yet hope for the best.

Q: Why his body was disposed of so Quickly??
A: well to my shock too why the hell to demolish the building and burn it, now body dumped at sea. Makes no sense to me, one reason could be the followers will make a shrine out of it and will keep worshiping there so dump it somewhere where they cant reach. Other ambiguity is that what if its a fake story and soon we hear another video of him saying "i am fine strike back dudes".

Twitter community is tweeting about the issue since morning and yet they don't approve of any Picture or words so its all un-authentic. Some of them are mentioned below with no names.

"Foreign Office has been asked to issue the statement. Why. Poor babus have nothing to do with it. Someone else should move forward."

"Tehrik e Taliban sticking by their claim that Osama bin Laden is safe. Typical tactics from them. The world is waiting for proof."

"Any statements from Saudi Arabia on Osama bin Laden? Let's not forget he was Saudi Arabian and so are many of his funders.#oblisdead"
"Not only could an invasion not kill or capture Osama bin Laden, something a small operation achieved, but surely more effective than drones."

"Ghazi was the base from which the whole operation was launched and preparations for it were on for one week."

"Objectively speaking, nothing's about to change is it?"

"I'm hearing the Last of the Mohican's theme with Obama shouting NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO I WILL FIND YOU"
" It is disturbing that we have not heard any official statement from Presidency, PM house or from Military"

"Bin Laden has already been buried at sea - CNN"
"Its a Mad Fest at the moment-The real story will unfold in the following days..Wait and Watch."

Cricket Tournament at WorldCall

On 19 April, 2011 i received an e-mail from Director HR, it was announcement of Cricket Tournament being held in WorldCall. Told all my technicians that we have an opportunity to show our talent, and eight people including me were ready to represent our department. Two teams were supposed to be announced so four of us made it in the team, i was personally somewhat satisfied with the decision.

As there is a staff of 125 in Operations HFC, we were not being given the fair amount of cut so we decided to make our own team, some of the Engineers and Assistants were also in support of this. Team of 15 was formulated under my captaincy, i talked to my Team Lead regarding the situation, he was not that interested in the whole thing but supported me. Then on 22 April, 2011 went to my GM to finalize things unfortunately he was in a meeting with directors. Meanwhile trials for selection were held and all other departments senior and junior staff was present there, sharp 4:30 pm. But to my shock none of the other engineers except me was there, our seniors were also out of the picture. It was a little disappointing, so i didn't participated in Trials regardless being asked to bowl several times. Came back to office and went to see my GM, he is really a nice guy and listens to my complain. He told me that our quota of two teams were cut down to one by HR so we have to scrutinize the best of 11, but he assured me of my selection. I was happy on representing my department but on the other hand i was disappointed by the seniors of my department. He agreed on my point and asked my Team Lead that he should have gone to the Trials for support of HFC Operations.

No other player of my area were selected so they all suggested me to boycott also. Anyways i planned to practice at night every day to improve my line and length, as i was being selected as spin bowler. The practice started on 22 April, 2011 at 11:50 pm. I bowled about eight overs and my feet started hurting, we decided to play every day at 4:00 pm. But couldn't play in the evening due to workload, so practiced at night on 23 April, 2011.

And then we got another mail regarding the schedule of the matches, passes and food coupons. 30 April,2011 was the big day so we had a final team meeting to decide all the matters., we decided to play last practice match on 28 April, 2011. At first we didn't managed to get a grip on ground eventually it was sorted out and we played for 3-4 hours it was a tiring practice which didn't involved me or Ahsan our opening batsman. then it was declared to rest for Friday and be hopeful, relaxed and aggressive on the big day.

On 30 April,2011 i got up early despite i was not feeling well. I went to the PAF ground to support my team and hoping to play in the next match. i arrived there and it was beautifully organised by the HR Team. there were  family section, Team Tents, Food Stalls and kids playing area. Suddenly a voice struck my ear Mustanser (our captain)  arranging his field and batting team requires 4 runs on 3 balls. So i located my team and to my shock our team scored just 57 on 6 overs, Omer was bowling the last over so i sat with fingers crossed, hoping against hope that they should win this. Omer bowled 2 wide balls and took a wicket on those last four balls but we sadly lost the match, we were out of the tournament as it was knock out system.

Captain was very angry and disappointed, Ahsan got the title of our Misba-ul-Haq, our GM arrived after the match and our Team leader was not there, none of the Engineers or assistants came so no attention from our seniors again.

GM posted on FB "We Lost the very first knock out match n now trying to find justifications which is obviously a funny stuff :)"  M. Akmal Javed.
