LUMS Annual Play "The Mouse Trap"

Welcome to Monkswell Manor.
The Guest House, Owned by the newly married couple, Mr. & Mrs.Ralston, provides shelter from the heavy snow to four expected guests:

The colorful Mr. Wren.
The increddible Mrs. Boyel.
The retired Major Metcalf.
The sarcastic Miss Casewell.
The unexpected shaddy visitor Mr. Paravicini.

The radio, only source of the news of the outside world, provides constant reminder of a crime that took place at twenty-four Culver street, Paddington. The murder of Mrs. Maureen Lyon.

The arrivaal of the intriguing Sergent Trotter unveils the risk of greater danger to the lives of two of the seven people residing at Monkswell Manor. Why? Because there were Three Blind Mice.

With the weather making it impossible for the murderer to reach Monkswell Manor, the guesthouse seems to be a safe heaven. But is it ? Or is the killer one of them ? All the peculiar character, it seems, have a secret, and one of them, has a secret wepon.

Anum Kamran plays Mollie Ralston, the perfect hostess, who is sure of her household. But, like every other character in the play, there is just something a bit off about her.

Asser Malik is Paravicini, The perfect Stranger. He has travelled all the way from Italy and is the uninvited, unwelcome guest. His aloofness adds to his mysterious aura and his character, in turn, definitely adds to the mystique of the play.

Yasin Asad plays Sergeant trotter, a detective by profession. The Sergeant is cheerful and loud and is present at the guest house for very good reason. Head strong and vigilant.

Saad Akbar is the guest with  English accent. He plays Major Metcalf, a retired English military man in his mid fifties. The Major seems organised and disciplined, a mark left behind by his military past.

Zain Saeed's role is that of Christopher Wern, Your typical pseudo-intellect. His hyperactive and flamboyant persona sets him apart from the rest.

Sana Warraich plays Mrs. Boyle. Always in a temper, she remains unappeased with everything her hosts do. Also, it does not take long to realize that Mrs. Boyle does not get along very well with other guests.

Ayesha Mysorewala is seen in the rather aggressive and masculine role of Miss Casewell. A bitter woman, with violent tendencies, she mocks at all the other characters.

Daniyal Ahmed plays the part of Mr. Giles Raltson, co-host and husband of Mollie Ralston. The actor describes himself as a typical sycophantic husband.
